review 1: Una novela que se lee rápido y que me ha gustado por su trasfondo vikingo. Me interesa la historia vikinga a pesar de tener escenas muy terribles, pero que se llevan de forma no muy desagradable en el libro. A pesar de todo, no he logrado ver nada especial en los personajes, me han parecido bastante planos y la historia es muy predecible con las escenas típicas en las novelas románticas, así que me ha servido para entretenerme pero poco más, a pesar de que no es una mala novela romántica sobre vikingos, ya que las demás que leí tenían un trasfondo poco estudiado y esta parece tenerlo más cuidado, no obstante, como digo, la parte romántica es sosa y predecible, lo que le resta mucho valor a la historia.
review 2: An enjoyable book. I would give it a 3... more.5 if I could. I liked how the relationship grows slowly over time. Wulfrum is a perfect Viking warrior, strong and willful, while Elgiva is smart and so not a push over. Great couple.The only thing I did not like about the book was it dragged in some areas and the authors choice of wording/phrase was odd at some points.I have a B.A. in history, so, naturally, I enjoy historical romance. I am a sucker for Vikings, so when I found this book, it was automatically added to my TBR list. The historical romance genre is dominated by "regency" era settings and it is refreshing to read a historical romance set in a different time period.If you enjoy Vikings be sure check out this book. less
