review 1: I really enjoyed this book! I thought there was a perfect amount of drama, that made for a great contemporary. I really liked Isabel in this book which is surprising because I didn't care for her in book one. Rory was kinda annoying in this one especially in the beginning. I LOVED Evan though, he was super adorable and quirky. I wish he didn't get dumped by Rory. I liked them together... Connor was annoying as well, whether it was with the divorce or his friends from his school. He was so rude to Rory and Isabel. Which was sad because I loved him so much in the first one. I just still do not like Mike and it was disappointing when Isabel when back to him. Aside from the characters I really enjoyed the plot twists this book had, even though I expected a lot of them. Overal... morel I loved this book and the summer filled aspect it gave me! :)
review 2: I'm trying to go a little harsher on the reviews... Actual rating is 3.5 stars. I enjoyed this book, despite the constant drama. Part of the ending was not what I expected, so I was happily surprised. I was disappointed with some of the characters' choices, but proud of some of the others. All in all, it was a pretty good, though not amazing because of the never ending drama, companion to the first book, especially with the switching point of views. Also, they mention the North Fork which is where I vacation over the summer :) Reading these books about rich people always makes me wonder if people really live these types of lives... I guess I'll never know less
