review 1: While I liked the characters, and the problems they faced, my problems lay with the idea. The idea was just so . . . cliché? Frustrating? Annoying at the least. Think about it. It's about 3 girls. One daughter of a millionaire/billionaire (kind of like if she was the daughter of the CEO of Apple or something), one daughter of a model, and one of a popstar. Really? Really? Regardless, the story wasn't awful, but come on. You can do better than that.
review 2: When I see celebrities and their kids in magazines and on TV I always think of how great that child's life will be. They are famous but don't have to do any work, they can do whatever they want because their parent(s) is a star, and everyone who likes their parent likes them. However, reading The Daughte
... morers shows what is actually like to be the child of someone famous. The restrictions they have, the challenges they face, and the way their parents ignore them is all exposed in this novel, along with teenage drama on every page. The Daughters is funny, dramatic, eye-opening and a definite must read. less
