review 1: I read this book first, out of sequence I know but it looked soo yummy that I couldn't resist. It was so awesome that I proceeded to read others in the series.Joanna hits it out of the ball park with this series. I love the mix of advanced technology, romance and action/adventure, opps and the sex was whooo-hooo, had me wanting some of that too :)lol. Older warrior meets middle aged female and watch the sparks fly and she had a brain too? AWESOME Joanna, PRICELESS.
review 2: This book was surprisingly good. I wasn't expecting too much from it so it was a surprise for me. Darius has finally found his life mate but he had to kidnap her in order to get her. When he finally had her he couldnt believe who K'rilla really was. K'rilla was a very strong woman and I lik... moree her strength. In her society, she was almost considered an old maid because she hadn't found her life mate and she had given up until Darius took her. Very good short quick read and the chemistry between the two characters was good. less
