review 1: 3´5 estrellas. Me ha recordado a como se las gastan los personajes de la serie Sons of Anarchy. Cuando hay moteros rondando siempre hay machismo, violencia, fiestas desenfrenadas, ilegalidades y sus propias reglas.Vamos, casi la misma actitud que podemos encontrar con cualquier protagonista de novela erótica.Entretenido sin más. Seguiré con la saga, porque hay algún personaje secundario que me ha llamado la atención y espero que tengan libro propio.
review 2: I think I can only give this book 3.5 stars. But...I can admit that i am not sure if this is because it just lacked a little something more for me or if I am just burned out by reading too much of the same thing. I admit to being a book junkie but I think I need to read a palette cleanser next. This ... moreis the story of Marie and Horse. Marie is a woman coming out of an abusive marriage and is really fairly naive. She is down on her luck and moves in with her brother Jeff. Jeff loves her and would do anything for her but is drowning in his own trouble and is pulling her down with him. Horse is a member of the Reaper MC. A badass biker with a soft heart. I think. There are times when he is sweet and times when he is brutal. Marie is trying to navigate through this to figure out how she Greeks about Horse who wants to claim her as his property. The story is compelling and I did want to read it even though much of it was predictable. As a heroine I felt Marie was a bit too clueless but likeable none the less. I did like that Horse could not resist her and let himself show that to those around him. He was clearly the more vulnerable one despite being a biker. I also liked some of the other characters and consider reading their stories as well. less
