review 1: I was really looking forward to checking out the projects in this book due to the cover. Yes, I do buy books based on the cover, don't you? However, I was just ok with this book. There were not any real projects in there that I have not seen before or even liked the way that they were presented. I would have given this two stars but I do think the directions are very easy to follow especially because of the visuals.
review 2: Cute items, just need some time to try them! I'm still not sure about the ribbon belts with duct tape backing. It sounded reasonable when I saw it in the book but then when I went to the store to get the materials, it didn't seem right; the duct tape would be too wide and take too much cutting. Can't seem to find shrinky dink plastic... more anymore either. Oh well, I have lots of other projects to complete. Might try the potholder out of felted wool. That was cute and simple looking. less
