review 1: After reading Incarnate, I immediately looked for a novella in Sam's POV. I really loved him in Incarnate and this novella made him even more perfect. he was awkward and a coward and it's kind of funny but at the same time, i got a glimpse of his love for music when he first discovered it. And also, this novella showed me all the terrible things that happened to Sam and how these things made him into, well, him. So overall, this was a good novella and i really enjoyed it.
review 2: I really enjoyed this novella because it is a story from the first time they were new souls!! Before they became like phoenixes and were reincarnated over and over due to Janan's crazy magic/ threats to get the original million to live over and over. Didn't like Dossam as a little ki... mored, he was wimpy and feeble. He sure has grown into a wonderful person after living life after life. I'm excited for the conclusion of this fun series and would recommend them to anyone. :) less
