review 1: I found this to be a well written story with characters that had some good emotional depth. The plot was believable and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. I would recommend for someone who likes mystery and action. The story only occurred over about a week which was part of what made this thriller taut. There was no reason to drag it out and weigh it down with unnecessary filler. I will be looking for more books from Mr. Hart.
review 2: Pleasantly surprised. The story was interesting and the characters deep. There really wasn't much explanation for the difficulties In Liam and Allen's relationship but as that was secondary to what was going on I guess it wasn't too important. Liam as a whole is a strong character. He is brave and still holds on to the d... moreefining parts of his former occupation to help him get to the bottom of things and to stay alive long enough to get things done. He makes some stupid mistakes along the way that just make him more human. Like the way his relationship with Dani and Eric progresses. And just when I thought I had it all figured out, the author threw an extra little surprise in that I didn't see coming. I would recommend this book to fans of Dean Koontz. less
