review 1: It's kinda funny because I don't remember opening my copy of "Lineage, a supernatural thriller" on my Kindle. But when I opened my Kindle one day, the ebook was open and waiting... (creepy!) But I'm glad I decided to continue reading. I was captivated from the beginning. It was hard to put down because I wanted to know what was going to happen next and stuff kept happening!!! And the writer had my stomach in knots by how he described the scenes, I felt pulled into the emotions of Lance, the main character. I even freaked out when I was reading it one late night during a particularly intense scene and my sister had gone to the kitchen to get water. The noises she was making had me thinking, "What was that?! Did I imagine it or is there someone/something there?!" Needless to... more say I finished this book rather quickly and look forward to reading more from Joe Hart
review 2: Tacky. This book takes an okay idea and completely trashes it. The writing is exactly what your English teacher wanted: thousands of overdone similes, cheesy description, and overdone detail. The plot was old, boring, and expected. It was recycled pieces of practically every modern ghost story. I very well wanted to throw up each word I read. Luckily for me, it was an easy read and I got through it before I lost my breakfast. less
