review 1: I truly did not enjoy this book. The sympathy we are drawn to feel towards the witch feels a little fake. I am still not sure what the message was after finishing this novel. The action stalls at the point were the Bell Witch character is developed and we are forced through a painful self examination. Boring and deceptive are the only words I can think off.Overall, I would not recommend this book to a friend. Much better works are out there, even by rookie authors.

... moreas written. The dialogues between the Witch and the other characters is possibly some of the best dialogue I have read. I don't want to give the plot away, all I can say is read this! less
