review 1: A Frank Quinn novel. This book reminded me of a yard full of fire hoses turned on at full blast, flipping around wildly, with me running around trying to hook them all together into a single stream of sense. Two many plots, characters, and time frames to keep track of and care about, especially in the audio format. No Agatha Christie wrap up, so I was left scratching my head about a few plot points.
review 2: I am a big fan of John Lutz. He lives in St Louis where I am from and have read his books for years and enjoy them. But, this was not a good book for me. There was so much that didn't make sense, and I got actually disgusted with the continued gruesome murders. Enough with the breasts! I never understood the connection that they all looked like Pearl
... more. The final 1 star moment was when they solved a clue with encrypted e-mails from two 14 year old in 1986! huh? emails in 1986? Please ...... I'm not looking forward to Frank Quinn #8 if it's more like this. less

Good overall story, with a new/ surprise character; the epilogue could've read 'time to move on.'
