review 1: Lutz has produced some amazing, creepy serial killer stories over his time but I wonder if his time is coming to an end. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this story, but it didn't seem as...thorough as past stories. The back story wasn't as detailed as others and the writing didn't feel quite up to par for Lutz. I'm getting ready to pick up the next one so I can stay "in touch" with his characters who are, and always have been, well defined.
review 2: Another winner by John Lutz!! I love, love, love his books! Every one he writes has you at the edge of your seat wondering....and then I begin to wonder what type of person can come up with this stuff....but please don't stop! I loved Twist and am already looking forward to your new book for 2014!! This book was an... moreother Q&A book about Quinn and his associates, and it also leaves you wondering at the end about Sal, Jody and the rest....I highly recommend this book, but remember if you have a weak stomach Lutz may not be the author for you!!! less
