review 1: I read this book some time ago, but I remember it as really good. It has an exciting plot, and a good story. The main characters are different from each other, but it just make it better to read. The story about how they get the Atlas and learn about their destiny is good written, and takes us on a story where we in jump time, and still get an explanation of how they change their past without notice it, until they go on the adventure. The book is in a world where magic is just beside us, but is hidden in places we can't see. In "The first book of the beginning" we meet the start of the evil and the good characters, and the whole book fit with the two next. The end was a bit weird, but later on, in the third book, we find out why it was so important.
review 2: I
... more enjoyed reading this book more than I thought I would. I borrowed it from my local library because I read on a blog that this was an excellent read. I didn't realize from the blogger that this was a fantasy children's book. I figured I've read the entire Harry Potter series what's one more children's book.It was thrilling! I could not put the book down. I must admit that I am one those people who will read the ending just to see how it ends...yes I did. But even knowing the ending didn't deter me from wanting to keep reading to see how it will end. There were a few times that I almost missed my stop on the subway because I was so absorbed in the book.I was terribly disappointed that the next book in the trilogy is not yet published. I'm actually considering buying this book. I don't want to wait to read it.I highly recommend this book to everyone. less
