review 1: This was a well put together book that I felt was very informative but not to the point of it feeling like a text book, which was very nice. It was separated into chapters and sub topics very well so you could easily put it down and pick it up later. If you are really interested in only one chapter you could easily read it and not be lost or feel the need to reference previous chapters. I enjoyed the book and the content, it shows how we have come to be where we are in medicine and the steps we took to get here.

Very interesting read. Made me a little paranoid....convinced I had cholera at one point.

After a few discoveries the book lost my interest and became boring and repetitive.
