review 1: What a quirky little book! Bjorn is...different, and he has a.....unique way of dealing with all the stereotypes and personalities inherent in a government office. And when he copes with all of it by disappearing into the secret room that only he can see, his office mates get a little unhinged by him standing in the hallway. I probably would have enjoyed it even more if I had ever worked in an office environment.
review 2: Bjorn, Bjorn... he is an irritating man, from the start I had sympathy for him but that sympathy got locked in the room he escapes to. He certainly seemed to feel superior but in all honesty I recognize him as someone we all know. I enjoyed the idea of the story, this secretive Room that may or may not be real that slowly disturbs and disrupt
... mores all of the characters but I did sometimes feel disinterested, and I love Kafkaesque stories. It certainly is a unique way to expose people and the way the see each-other , I just wish it took a different turn. less

Een pareltje waar je snel door bent. En dan kom je weer uit die kamer.

Odd little book. If you don't like ambiguity, skip it.
