review 1: I found the first parts of the book rather numbingly repetitive; the author doesn't really hit his sweet spot until he starts talking about the events around the various Shemitah's of the 20th century. I am usually skeptical of too much emphasis on predictions based on numbers, but Cahn brings a lot of correlations to bear with the Shemitah's. In September 2014 another Shemitah year began, and it will conclude in September 2015, after which Cahn makes a case for the dating of a jubilee year. Interesting time to keep your heart and eyes open!
review 2: Although the author has an annoying tendency to unnecessarily repeat himself, the message being delivered is well worth the frustration of plowing through the litany of reiterations. Here we are given a guide to ... moreunderstanding, an exploration of early Biblical teaching, a plea to heed the warnings, a call to repentance . . . this should be required reading for everyone.
