review 1: This was such a sweet and fun read. I loved Eddie and Jeff from the beginning. I wanted them to come together and it was so fun to watch their bonding process. Eddie is an out, proud and bossy sub looking for his perfect Dom. When he hears about Jeff’s misfortunes on his first forays into the BDSM scene his decides to take him under his wing and train his perfect Dom.It is so interesting to watch Jeff try to rationalize his feelings for Eddie so he wouldn’t have to admit to himself that he might be gay. The whole book is about learning to accept ourselves for who we are and being happy with that person. While the book is pretty light there are always going to be some tough times when you are doing self-discovery but it is a wonderful ride. I loved the ending and... more I would love to read more about these two in the future as they continue to bond and Jeff hones his craft.
review 2: I don't often like Gay for You. I usually simply skip books where GFY seems to be a plot point, because it's not my usual cup of tea, but I'm glad the books exist for those who love those plots. But this cover! And it's one of my autobuy authors. *bites bullet* Holy crap! This is REALLY good. And it's not even out-for-you--this is straight up, dude has never really had a gay impulse until he's broadsided by the proposition that changes his whole life. And if you can just hang on for the romp, this is among the most FUN reading I've done in a long time. less
