review 1: I really enjoyed this book. It combined my love of the Cozy Mystery with my love of couponing (Yes I am one of those people who love to bargain shop, coupon and just save cash. It gives me a rush knowing that I got a good deal!) The characters were fun and easy to like. I don't want to give anything away on this one, as I want you to explore and enjoy the characters and their quirks the same way that I did. Anyone that loves Cozy Mysteries will love this book. I am really looking forward to more by Josie Bell and her "Good Buy Girls"
review 2: I really love Jenn McKinlay's books. I am not sure why this series is written under a pseudonym, but that's honestly what kept me from reading them for so long. I guess I was worried they would be vastly different from ... moreher other three series, and I did not know if that would be a good thing. I am happy to report that I needn't have worried.I loved the characters in this book right off the bat. Maggie and her friends--the Good Buy Girls--seem very real, like people I know in my own life. I've been reading so many YA books of late, it was refreshing to read about the lives of people in their 40's. You know, where people aren't about to jump off a cliff because the boy they like won't talk to them. But I digress.Sheriff Sam... what can I say? I need to get me one of those. I'm probably going to start the next book right after I finish this review. I can't wait to see where things go with him. These books always have the best love interests. less
