review 1: Josie Brown visited the bookstore recently and was really fun to meet! I loved her book Secret Lives of Husbands and Wives and this is another good one about a woman whose husband does not want children but she wants kids more than anything. In the meantime she falls into a career as a baby planner helping expecting mothers getting ready for the arrival of their babies. Humor, drama and everything in between.
review 2: This book is a little more substantial than your average "Chick Lit" novel. It explores Katie's (the protagonist's) relationships with siblings, parents, friends, and co-workers, all in perfect detail. Katie's personality is a little flat, but you don't really mind when you're reading it. The only downside for those expecting a little lovin' is t... morehat Katie's romantic life is one of the least-discussed topics in the book. But hey, maybe that's just me :) less
