review 1: Mean Girls become parents eager to get their toddlers into the best playgroup and thus ensure their acceptance at the right pre-school, private school, etc. Funny, entertaining read for a short plane ride or afternoon escape. WARNING -- book only covers the first few months of the quest to obtain admission to the group. Story continued in two other books so definitely divided to sell next volume.
review 2: It's chick lit. It's trite. It's not exactly well written. Like, I kind of imagine that this is what Sex in the City fan fiction reads like. Characters lack depth, are written more like parodies of tropes. That said, it's not nearly as infuriating as, like, Confessions of a Shopoholic was, so if you're looking for something to breeze through on the beach
... more or something, sure, why not this. It's captivating, at the very least. less

Too many characters... Hard to remember who is who and you never really care about any of them!
