review 1: A super fun read! Mid-evil time period romance adventure! I didn't want to put it down! I got this book at our little LDS bookstore here in Tucson when the author was there signing books. This is her first book and she has one other out now as well that I must get my hands on! Very well written for a first book. A little complex in the beginning but still not hard to follow. Then all the pieces all come together as you read and you just get hooked. Great characters and good kisses! :) Love to lend it out if you live near by and want to borrow it.
review 2: I've never read a historical of this era so I was intrigued to get a hold of LOYALTY'S WEB. There's a strong sense of place and time in this story, and the plot is genius in the way it leads from on... moree impossible question to the next. Everything comes together at the end, which is unpredictable and clever. My favorite aspect was how I knew nothing about the time period, but it was presented in an easy to understand and believable presentation, with no lecturing or long passages of description. Details were worked in seamlessly--just as seamlessly as the epic-feeling plot line. I loved this story. Great setting. Great characters. I'd be very interested in a sequel. I know of one other book the author has written, so I hope to pick that one up soon. I may just become a Medieval fan! less
