review 1: This was a cute quick read with many endearing qualities. The time period was well researched and the author was very articulate. I liked the characters and enjoyed being re-united with characters from previous adventures.However, there were parts of the story that were a little laughable. For instance, it's a little far-fetched to believe that a girl could masquerade as a knight's squire without having to do any of a squire's work (ie. undressing and dressing the knight). If you can get past simple mistakes like this, it was an enjoyable read.
review 2: Although I'm not a huge fan of medieval literature, I really enjoyed this book! The characters were real, without being modern. I would have loved a pronunciation guide at the beginning, so I knew how to pro... morenounce things in my head, and a prologue connecting the books (a reminder of sorts) would have been fantastic! Either way, I enjoyed watching this romance develop and seon the edge of my seat at seeing how things turned out! I was absolutely on the edge of my seat at several points in the book! Nice! less
