The Douglas Trilogy
review 1: A Review by Anthony T. Riggio of “The Countenance of War” by JR Tomlin , September 20, 2013A book about the history of Scotland set into a fictional setting involving the Douglas Clan. This was a very exciting and fast paced read for those who enjoy excellent historical fiction. JR Tomlin is a master in this genre of books and his historical knowledge is superb. I gave this book five stars and highly recommend it to all those interested in history from the struggle between Scotland and England.

The book was very well researched and written, but the many typos were very distracting.
