review 1: It's hard for me to rate this one because I really enjoyed the writing style, but not so much the plot and storyline. I thought they were a bit far fetched...and ridiculous.Also, this story was a bit on the cheesy side and not only that I expected more details of how Hope dealt with the horrible ordeal that happened to her, but the details were glossed over and so it felt like that incident was just thrown into the story just for the hell of it to make Hope into this 'broken' character that had some sort of psychological issue. I just wasn't buying it.Plus, Hope had some TSTL moments too and I found her quite pathetic at times. Jason was your typical J.S. Scott hero: dangerously rich and sexy with a possessive and obsessive streak a mile wide. I actually liked him, but tho... moreught it was lame how he went about the whole thing of preventing Hope from marrying her 'fiance' by getting her wasted and marrying her in Vegas. Err, why not just talk to her in the first place and tell her how you really feel? For a billionaire who claims to use his smarts to make billions of dollars on investments doesn't sound very smart to me *shrugs*This review may sound more negative than positive, but I did find myself enjoying the story as a whole. Yes, I did have issues on several aspects of the story, but it still made for a good solid read.
review 2: Jason Sunderland is a billionaire. Hope Sinclair is a photographer . She has know Jason all her life and she has always wanted to be his girl. Now at 26 she finds herself at a fund raiser when she sees him after years apart. The last she saw Jason was when she graduated from high school. Jason takes advantage of the midnight hour on new years to kiss her on the balcony. She is so drawn to him but she had a boyfriend, but they just broke up. Jason is thrilled. They spend some time together and Hope walks away before Jason wakes up. Months later he hears she is getting married. Not if he can help it. Him and his friend Tate cook up a plan to get her away from her guy. When he hears she is in Vegas for a party he sets his plan in motion. You will simply love this story. It does contain profanity and some sexual scenes so this isn't for everyone. If this doesn't offend you, I guarantee you will love this story. less
