review 1: Kara and Simon continue to live together and following the first book establish a sexual relationship. It is discovered Simon has had a trauma in his past. Kara wants to help Simon overcome his fears and deal with his traumatic past. Kara also finds herself put in danger. Another short story in the series, it was an easy light read and followed on well from the first book. We learn more about Simon in this book but it is clear there is still more to learn. It ended well on a cliffhanger, leaving some questions still unanswered. Pleasant short story that I gave 3 stars!
review 2: I bought the Complete Collection which contains all of Simon's story.I felt like giving Simon a hug and telling him it'd be ok, he brought out my maternal instincts I think. For all his... more alpha male dominant persona, there is this scared and innocent lost boy. His obsession with Kara has him watching from afar, he could be considered to be a stalker but he does nothing more than make sure she's safe, gets home from work ok, is in no danger. He's worried about her.Yes he's had a sex life but for reasons explained, he's never had a girlfriend. He doesn't see he has any good points. When he asks Kara for one night of passion he really means it, just one night, that's all he deserves and she deserves more. He is shy and sweet at times but when it comes to Kara's wellbeing he's taking no chances and his caveman instincts kick in.I enjoyed this story and continued to read the rest of the series. less

was looking forward to book 2 and definitely didn't disappoint me.kept me interested all the way through. with simon it's all about trust will kara gain his trustso thete relationship can progress. There plenty of hot scenes especially the elevator that's my favourite .At simons birthday bash kara see Simon in a situation which upsets her sam the brother is thete to lend a hand it totally back fires on him there's a bust up.In this book there's a little more going on we get to know sam his brother who's totally a womaniser .Bit of a cliff hanger at the end can't wait to read the next one absolutely loving this trilogy .
