review 1: Lilly was a student doing her last class project working withthe Sheriff's Department and her partner was Jake ..Jake had ask Lilly if she minded to go on a break in call..Jake told her to stay put but the longer Jake took the more Lilly worried so she did not listen .. You must read to know the rest of the story ..It's an easy read,with some hot steamy sex.. wish their was more to this story tho
review 2: If you like JS Scott books like me, you need to give this a chance. Don't read to much into the reviews, you need to make up your own mind. Sometimes it nice to read a very short novella in between other books you are waiting for, and this was just that. As this is so short you don't get to feel any emotion form the characters and YES she says NO!! But its ... moreobvious to me from the beginning she likes Jake. less
