review 1: More like 3.5. I mostly agree with her ideas and arguments, but I felt like some of it was a bit...101ish? And a bit repetitive, which is an unfortunate side effect of books that are (at least in part) collections of previous separate essays. But this is an important subject and I do hope folks who are not that aware of trans activism and issues and how it interrelates with queer politics, feminism, etc, pick this up - there are a lot of people out there who, sadly, *need* 101-type education still.
review 2: (3.5 stars) The books' blurb said that strategies were going to be offered, but I found it more abstract and theoretical. Sometimes, she was a bit harsh towards masculine-presenting people, though I understand where she is coming from. Some repetitive stuff
... more from her previous book. Overall, a decent book in examining on how feminist and queer movements can also fall into excluding and invalidating certain groups. less

Hm, more like 3.5 stars. I liked the ideas. I just didn't always like the execution.
