review 1: Only book I have ever read that captures the internal experience of a high-functioning person with Bipolar. If you want to have some chance at understanding what mania is really like then the best thing you could do is read this novel. I did not previously think that the experience could be described with words. I love this book so much it's hard to describe. Parts are very painful. It does not sugar-coat the disease as most media portrayals do.
review 2: This was an amazing novel. Garey gives Greyson Todd (which sounds like someone combined a few Robins) a wonderful voice, you can almost hear Robert Downey Jr in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang reading the novel to you.
