The theme for the YA Chronicles September box was ‘Squad Goals’ and all the little hints had me so hyped. So for a full unboxing, continue reading!
First off the block was a lip balm from one of my favourites ~ Kool and co! There were five possible items, the one I received being Matthias and it smells so good.
Next up was an absolutely gorgeous soap from Nook & Burrow, I have loved these guys ever since their Fairy Bread candle was included in last years May box. This soap is inspired by the Night’s Watch!
Next was an item inspired by Harry Potter, after all we can’t talk squad goals without it. This item was a lovely Dumbledore’s Army necklace.
This next item from Charmed Fiction took inspiration from Percy Jackson, a lovely ribbon bookmark. This one was another one where there were several potential options, in terms of the colour of the ribbon. The one I received was white.
This box also contained some bonus items. This included a postcard and adorable pin from another upcoming #loveOzYA novel, Untidy Towns by Kate O’Donnell.
And finally for the book itself. This is a #loveOzYA novels by not just one, but three Aussie authors. It came with a signed bookplate as well, which always makes it extra special.
Blurb:
Kate, a quiet boarder, making some risky choices to pursue the experimental music she loves.
Clem, shrugging off her old swim-team persona, exploring her first sexual relationship, and trying to keep her annoying twin, Iris, at arm’s length.
Ady, grappling with a chaotic family, and wondering who her real friends are; she’s not the confident A-lister she appears to be.
When St Hilda’s establishes a Year 10 Wellness Program in response to the era of cyber-bullying, the three girls are thrown together and an unlikely friendship is sparked. One thing they have in common: each is targeted by PSST, a site devoted to gossip and slander that must have a source within St Hilda’s.
Who can you trust when rumour is the new truth?
This is definitely one of my favourite boxes, everything was so lovely and colourful!
