review 1: This is another one I was pleasantly surprised by! I didn't have super high expectations going in, but I loved the way this story unfolded. Lots of action and suspense, but plenty of quiet moments too. There is an element of the paranormal in the story, but overall I thought it was more realistic than other stories I've read (in terms of how teens might handle certain situations). I thought the father/son relationship was also well done.
review 2: This was a great book. A young lady from London stows away in a young man's car when he stops to visit his mother's grave before leaving home. He finds out she is blind after he leave her on the side of a freeway. After he picks her back up, he finds out she was kidnapped from London and has been blind since birth. He
... more tries to keep her safe from the people who kidnapped her. Both my daughter and I liked this book. less

I really liked the nonstop action, the humor even when things are serious, and the clean writing.
