review 1: Wow, just wow.I really really liked it.I need the next one like now.This is the kind of books I love to read. The ones that stay with you long after you're finished with them. It had it ups and downs, and although it didn't feel as dark as the first one it was still pretty good. I liked having the insight into Cameron's head and you kind of got a better grasp of just how big and influential his role in the 'underworld' really is. Emmy did kind of make me mad at some parts but by the end of the story she fully redeemed herself. Well, Cameron did make me mad too from the beginning, but his was more understandable.Now I can't wait til the last one comes out. This better not be a three year wait like it was for this book, that would be entirely too painful. It'll be interestin... moreg to see how their story plays out, especially since there's so much more at stake. I know how I want it to turn out, so hopefully I won't be disappointed. Manny and Frances really should be best friends, for how manipulative and hateful they are.
review 2: The first few chapters were just Emily and Cam being really emo. I was annoyed by Emmy, and wondered at times if she was the same character. I just wanted scream at her.I did enjoy Cam's POV, his chapters were good to read especially because you got a chance to see in his world. The book didn't actually get interesting until 60% into it, from then on I could see the old Emmy coming back. I found myself wanting to know more about Emmy's hacker roommate, instead of her. It was an ok read, you know once you get passed the first half. less
