review 1: I'm still not sure what to think about Meghan and Ash's relationship. I should be all over their romance but I just don't feel the chemistry, maybe because I still don't understand where it came from. Meghan seems to spend a lot of time in pain over a guy that tried to kill her when they first encountered each other and then threatened to do so the first time they talked. And how did she thaw out this ice prince? I'm still confused. Even though this short story tried to do more in terms of character development than The Iron King, but it still didn't fill the gaps enough for me.
review 2: A short easy read that is definitely helpful in understanding what is happening in the series and character's mind. The only reason it doesn't have a higher rating is because
... moreI felt there could have been more action/development than existed. That being said, this could be a set up for later plot points. I hope to see a little more decisiveness from Ash and more self-preservation from Meghan in later novels less
