review 1: I really bought this book because I read Stalking Susan and liked it, however I can barely even read this it is so lame. I forgot that the worst thing about reading book series is that they repeat the same information, which is understandable but in this book, there is no bases for the information to be given again and no attempt to relay it differently. For instance, in both Missing Mark and Stalking Susan, the reporter main character explains that when you write out the script for a newscast you are only supposed to do a couple of words per line so it will translate to a second a line and the producers can estimate how long it will take. It was completely unnecessary to explain that in the second book and I think either the lady who wrote this thought that fact was excep... moretionally interesting (it's not) or she needed a filler. Oh and the face recognition thing happens to be the dumbest disease anyone can have and I don't think it works like how it was explained in the book. I stopped reading after she spoke to her professor friend about how important faces are which is why people use phrases like "face the music" and "about face". I think that paragraph alone made me dumber and I refuse to read any further.
review 2: this was a good book, i would get another one by this author. it was a female newswoman, she keeps finding dead bodies. she answered a ad about a wedding dress for sale never worn. the womans finace never showed up at the wedding (he was killed by the womans mother). her and her mother had a condition where they cant recognize anyones face. but they both could recongise this comedians face so they both fell in love with him. she killed his mother too. the good part was a k9 who sniffed drugs from the neighbor and the dead body. but he belonged to a woman cop so he had to go back, but i liked him. i dont think he is a part of the series. the reporter was a widow. less

A missing bridegroom case too conveniently (and violently) solved in the final pages.

Another fast paced, entertaining mystery by a Minnesota author!

Not quite as fun as the first, but a little less predictable.
