review 1: My review is for the whole series. 4.5 starsWarning: might be spoilerish but no real spoilers!I don't know what inspired me to buy a book with such a title. It sounded like a total joke. HOWEVER, it is a GREAT series. It is angsty and well developed. I wasn't sure that I was going to be able to identified with Alex, our emo MC. I totally loved Alex. My heart went out to him in his moments of sadness and depression. All he wanted to do was please Sebastian.Sebastian was a TOTAL bastard who only knew how to take, take and take from poor Alex. He never once listened to his needs or wants. YET I am guilty of enjoying the story of these two. I thought the gradual seduction of Alex was beautifully executed. The scenes (minus the party and the invited guest) were all very sexy.I... more was soooo glad when Alex finally walked out on Seb after the party from hell. On my part, I would have liked to see a bit more groveling from Sebastian and a look into their life as a couple after the reconciliation (because I still wonder if these two will work out in the long run) to make it a 5.
review 2: As my GR friends know, I am not really into BDSM but this story was so well-written, I actually could not put this MM romance book down! It was naughty but not crude (what a wonderful writing style; despite naughty words and actions, it still did not feel crude but WOW!) but a sensuous, enjoyable story about a youth who sounds very brattish (I love the brat stories) and his very smooth, classy, sexy, and rich employer...I really liked the both characters in this story and can't wait to read the rest of the series... less
