review 1: I'm on page 64, and I think this book is pretty good. So far this book has been very relatable. A teenage girl who is overweight decides to make a change in her life to loose weight. She gets a weight loss progam and it starts out well, but then she is still hungry after eating her pre-made meals that came with her diet plan. She gets wonderful news that some of her relatives are getting married, this is what makes her want to lose weight by the wedding so she can fit into a smaller size dress.
review 2: If you are like me and have struggled with your weight, you'll love this book. Ann has 45 pounds to lose before her aunt's wedding. She's supposed to be a bridesmaid and fitting into one of those cute dresses... Well, I could feel her panic. It's summer and th
... moree book starts off with a bathing suit hunt. Is there anything worse? Maybe. Anyway, I loved this girl and the realistic way we see her struggle to lose those pounds. She's not whiny and this isn't one of those horrible books where she's got no friends and the world's against her. No, I think Ann could be anyone's friend. But her family life does suck in the normal way and the writing here is so good, I just couldn't put this book down. Kudos to Barson for making this old issue seem fresh. There's even a little romance here. This is a must read for anyone who has obsessed about weight. Get over it. Ann did. less

Cute, easy read. Good lesson on never to judge others because you might not know the whole story.
