review 1: I'm exhausted! Evy is one good woman dealing with this whole ordeal, lol. I remembered when I finished book 1, I couldn't wait to see how all this was going to play out. Dean's past of one night stands brought Megan into his life/bed and then he meets Evy and she completely captures his heart. What should be a HEA turns into a nightmare with Megan and her devious dad Clay Crawford. We start book 2 with the crazy wedding of Dean and Megan and things just keep spiraling out of control. The twist and turns were fun yet exhausting, but for all of that, it seemed to come together a little too quickly and neatly. Would have like to have seen how Dean and Evy faired after the dust settled. This story was like nothing I have read before, it was unique and creative, all in all a fu... moren read.
review 2: Book 2I love how a serious situation is turned into a funny dialogue of humorous lines.Evy gets to continue her relationship with Dean even though he is married to Megan.Megan promises to tell her dad she wants a divorce, but then he bought her a house.Trouble continues to brew for Dean. Dean is throwing caution to the wind. Dean is desperate to spend time with Evy that he is willing to sacrifice everyone's lives.I love Bens character and his concert shirts. First time ever I read a story where the author actually mentions bands that I listen to.The group has clever minds and are trying to think up ways to sabotage Clay and ruin his chances for election.Megan and Clay are dirty players in this game against Dean. I wish I knew what they were up to. Megan is so careless with her life and not one bit concerned how careless she is with Dean's life. Megan holds onto the belief that Dean could be the father of her baby and is not bothered to be married to a man who does not love her. She does this because she is afraid to be honest with her father. The story was great and ended just as it should have.I want to be friends with Kaitlyn. If she is anything like the character Brooke I want a friend like her who is hilarious. I love the mouth on that girl. less

I don't think I've ever read a 'romance' where the hero spends the majority of the book with the 'other woman'.In this installment book 1, (which ends on a cliffhanger) and then in book 2 as well.SPOIERSThrough both erotica installments (there's no romance in either) he has sex with the ow (many detailed sex scenes, which in a romance would normally take place between the H and h)), marries the ow, goes on honeymoon with his new bride, plays possible father-to-be to his wife's unborn baby. Is being blackmailed. Spends most of the book fighting to get away from his batshit crazy wife's creepy advances and apologizing to the heroine for all the chaos. Maybe its meant to be a thriller or suspense read. There's certainly no healthy awareness of AIDS or other sexually transmitted diseases. The hero is weak, definitely not an alpha. The heroine is TSTL as she waits for him.Not much one-on-one-together time with the H and heroine. One of the oddest story lines I've read.

well I thought the first book was ok, just ok, but the story had potential so I wanted to keep reading. the 2nd installment was no better than the first. very cheesy and didn't flow well at all. I was left wondering what the hell was happening at times, I'm surprised I made it to the end of the book because there was ready to give up and put the book down throughout a lot of it. not a series I would recommend
