review 1: I really enjoyed this even though I read it out of order. Silly me! And it's FREE! More Aaron! Who couldn't love him? Strong, intelligent and Alpha yet still struggling with insecurities, instincts and keeping his pack safe while trying to bring them into modern thinking. Kaje is so good at the character studies. None of the men/wolves in this series are perfect, they each have burdens to bear as human while still dealing with their wolf instincts. I hope Kaje intends to continue this series. I do love her other books but these wolves hold a special place in my heart.
review 2: Kaje Harper is spoiling us.This is a novella, happens after the second book and I loved it.We see Aaron and Zach again, we can see how their relationship works with all the issues that a
... morerise form being Alpha and a low rank wolf. I enjoyed that very much. It's not really an interlude, it is a whole story, the only difference to the other books is, that it's a bit shorter and has no new love story in it. Paul and Simon finally are getting their kittens....aww....;)There are shifts in the whole pack business, problems are adressed and the pack gets a new, hot and straight wolf!!! Nice. What can I say - I read this one in one setting because Kaje Harper's writing is just amazing, the story gripping and the MCs more than likeable. Can I give 6 stars - oh, and it's free!!! less
