review 1: Thank you Kaje Harper for another great FREE novella!This story was carried mainly by the storyline not the romance between the two characters. Actually, I could have pretty much live without the MCs romance, i also didn't feel the spark between them much. But this is a the only minor complaint I have.While this is set in the near future we should be very much aware, that organ harvesting is already nowadays an issue. Credits go to the author for picking up and exploring this topic and bring it to her readers awareness. Thank you again!
review 2: Why did I wait so long to read this? It's long maybe and I've been trying to read several LL stories each week plus review books etc BUT...I should not have waited.This story was fantastic. A futuristic/sci-fi type, no... moret my favourite genre, but like every genre I've seen read of Kaje Harper, I loved it. This author has the knack of writing characters I invest in and care about, adding an interesting storyline - with just the necessary amount of angst/upset and weaving everything together to make a great tale. There is never too much with Kaje Harper's books. Everything feels relevant to the story, nothing is excess or added just to fit/manipulate the story and I really appreciate this.This is definitely in my top 5 stories from this event - it's just unbelievable to me that I can get a FREE story from such a fabulous author.Thank you so much. less
