review 1: This is another great story from Kaje Harper! Brandt has been discovered by his pack as being an abomination. Gay and likes to dress in 'girly' clothes. After witnessing the death of another pack mate caught during the same security check he runs. I will admit that I found the way Brandt sort of became part of Ethan's life at the motel a little implausible but Kaje made it work. The growing relationship was done so well, no rushing, no insta-lust where they couldn't keep their hands off each other. Friendship came first. I really enjoyed that. Getting to know both Brandt and Ethan as they slowly got to know each other. Brandt dealing with the loss of his pack as well as his 'sick' desires. Ethan, also a victim of homophobia as well as feeling he is responsible for his broth... moreers death. Aaron and the West pack arrive and it was wonderful to see Simon, Paul and Zach again. There are changes coming and I'm hoping Kaje intends to continue the series!
review 2: Honestly – I’m so done with werewolves. Buuuuuut there are a few exceptions and this series is one of them. So I’ve throughoutly enjoyed the third book in the Hidden Wolves series. At first I had missed the pack because Ethan’s and Brandt’s story starts independently. But as always Kaje Harper’s writing skills just sucked me in and somewhere in the middle Aaron and his pack starts to appear, too. And yeah…I still love them ;)So this book is a delightful experience, skillfully written as always. less
