review 1: As posted on The Smutty Kitty4 out of 5 LicksI am sad to see this series come to an end but I have a feeling there might be another one springing out of this (please Karen please!). Anastasia (Stasia) is certainly going through a rough patch. After her father dies she learns during the reading of his will that not only is he not her real father she is completely cut off from the family business and left to find her own way. Gavin (a sexy lawyer) doesn't expect to fall for Stasia but the chemistry between them is undeniable. I love that Stasia is such a strong willed character, but at times her pity parties became annoying. There were times when I felt like they caused the story to drag a bit. All in all I think Karen captured Stasia's emotions really well though. I c... morean only imagine the turmoil she was going through. Gavin proved he was strong enough to see her through her pain and thankfully the Worth family snuck in to help get them together. It didn't even bother me that I was reading dirty scenes with a hero that shares the name of my 6-year-old son. lol Since I have a hard time letting my characters go I loved that she added an epilogue. It made a perfect ending to the book. I hope we get the opportunity to revisit the Worth/Renaldi crew sometime soon!
review 2: So sad to see this series end but I'm glad the author gave us Gavin and Anatasia's story as a send off. They had incredible chemistry together and I enjoyed their relationship as they worked together to get the Worth brothers accept Stasia as their newly discovered half-sister. Of course, these brothers are made better because of the women they love and it was so nice to see them again and watch their friendship with Stasia unfold. My favorite part was the ending that set my heart a flutter....very romantic. less
