review 1: You have to like cozy mysteries (and their lack of real investigation or logic) to get in to this title which may be better termed mom-lit. For me, temporarily in Austin, the sense of place was the strong point but for those who actually live here or those who have never been here that might be a turn off, since the references are so pointed. Maggie is one of those characters reminiscent of Wily Coyote: bop him on the head and he pops back up.
