review 1: I thought this was a great read, finished it in one night. The story follows Breena who is dealing with trying to take care of her little sister when supernatural elements come into play as well, but I'm not giving anything away. Also, there is a love triangle that I really enjoyed because I was conflicted over who I liked more. In the end I know who I'm rooting for but both guys are pretty awesome in their own ways so it won't bug me if the other guy gets the girl. Totally looking forward to book two.
review 2: I don't usually read young adult books but this story has everything I want in it: humor, action, tons of supernatural stuff, romance, passion (although it is tempered, because it is a YA), and unique characters you can fall in love with. The writing i... mores so smooth with a unique tone of voice and the POV switches are very well done. I recommend this book to anyone who reads and loves paranormal romance, even if you just read adult paranormal romance. less
