review 1: I loved this book! I am a huge P&P fan, and could not let the chance pass up to read and review this book!Lizzie falls in love with the idea of Mr Darcy, and decides that she can not date anyone who isn't exactly like him. Seriously how can someone be so ridicious! Anyways, her best friend forces her into dating the first guy to ask, and in enters Chad, such a great guy!Of course this is when she meets her Mr Darcy Matt, what an idiot! He Amy have great looks, and money, but he is a real idiot. I can't believe Lizzie can be so blind to how badly he treats her.Thanks heavens Chad stays in the picture, and he is as great as they get, so there is a HEA in this story.I really loved this book. I have read the husband maker by the same author, and find this book a lot better. Th... moreis one leaves you feeling good after finishing it. I have read this one twice, and see myself picking this one up again for a comfort read. I also see myself passing it onto my daughter when she's old enough to read it.
review 2: I thought this book would be another retelling of Pride & Prejudice, but it was a story on its own. Lizzie's search for her Mr. Darcy seems on the right track when she meets his look alike, and he seems interested in her. So what if they do not agree on food, fashion or movies? So what if his assistant is gorgeous and possessive? So what if his family seems snobbish? He seems to like her and claims to be head over heels in love with her. Has her obsession with Darcy made her loose nice boy-next-door Chad? Lizzie will have to decide what it is that she really wants. less
