review 1: For some reason because I borrowed this from my sister I had no idea it was the beginning of a series. Hence my contented sigh at the end of the book followed by my compulsion to throw the book across the room. I HATE cliffhangers in books, movies, etc. If I know a book is a series I try not to read it till all are out. That being said I really enjoyed this book. It was funny, easy to read, believable (if not a bit see through-you can tell what will happen). Explanations about the past are informative without being too long. One of the best things about this was it was a CLEAN romance, no sex, swearing, or other things. Just people, their lives, their feelings. The cover (and title for that matter) is a total turn off to me and didn't make me want to read the book... more but I am glad I started it.I love Angus, probably more for how he is with Charlotte when you can read between the lines on his end (and foresee what will happen in the next book). Sigh...I hate series.
review 2: Contemporary romance with a unique title. THEN you find out what it REALLY means and the title breaks your heart. Still, this is a good, relatable story with a wonderfully, witty main character. I can't wait to read the next book. (I would love to say more about this story, but it would contain MAJOR, MAJOR spoilers! So just read it for yourself.)Content: Clean read with no swearing or physical fights, but there is kissing. Rated for 15 & up. less
