review 1: The books are definitely different from the show, but I think that's actually really cool. It makes reading the books more suspenseful because the TV show doesn't provide spoilers and vice versa. The books are filled with strong, resourceful women just like the show, and I love the twists in Day 21. Can't wait to read Homecoming!If you're a The 100 TV show fan, the book series is great reading material while you're waiting for the show to come back from hiatus!
review 2: I did not like this book at all. I enjoyed reading the first one, but it got a bit too ridiculous. These characters fall in and out of love so quickly and easily. Like Wells was supposed to be in love with Clarke and came for her to earth. But he falls in love with Sasha so easily? The whole ti... moreme I was reading I did not know Wells liked her in that way. But then she kisses him and suddenly he can't stop thinking about her and is in love. So much for sacrificing everything for Clarke. *rolls eyes* And then we have Bellamy and Clarke who are just as ridiculous. She tells him about Lily and then he gets angry and wishes he let her die after that snake bite. And I am just like what? Seriously? that easily you started hating her? And then a few hours later they are alone together, he looks at her face and suddenly understands why she let Lily die. They hug and kiss and he tells her he loves her. Like what? .. dude you barely know each other. Instead of getting a book about people surviving we get a book about teen love drama. I really wanted to like this book, but I'm just going to stick to watching the tv show where we have awesome female characters. less
