review 1: This is a sweet story about a much-loved library book. I really enjoyed the story. I love books and consider a good book a good friend. I have fond memories of libraries I visited in elementary school and books I loved a lot. I can see myself acting just like the girl in the story. The illustrations are a little moody for a picture book but I liked them. My niece hasn't weighed in yet but I am sure she'll love this book since I saw her kissing her old library books goodbye as she returned them.

... morepart and the book is left forgotten in the library basement. But though other titles come and go, the little girl always looks for her lost friend. The story ends happily with the two being reunited. Just right. The illustrations also are just right; the illustrator also did the cover for Because of Winn-Dixie less

A great reminder for me, a librarian, to get those old ones out front and center for more to enjoy!
