review 1: 2.75 starsThe events in this book were pretty predictable. I mean, Mr. Stone and Rose are both sick at the same time of the month and they both happen to miss the same number of days. And Mr. Stone has also been in some accident. I knew he was also a werewolf from really early on in the book.I think the whole teacher-student relationship was kind of cliche. It developed too quickly. I think Rose's small outburst about the book she was reading in the beginning was too...outgoing for her personalityI didn't think the book was bad. There were simple grammatical and spelling errors, but other than that it was mostly fine.
review 2: Thomas Stone has waited for what seemed like forever to face his unknown attacker only to find out that the attacker is one of his fema
... morele high school student Rose Goldman. But instead of killing the alpha girl that made him into a werewolf, he finds himself attracted to her instead, and Rose to him. But there's bound to be complications when a romantic relationship develops between a teacher and his student. When family problems cause Rose's mother to neglect to restrain her in the basement on a full moon, the consequences left incriminating evidence that quickly lead to the arrest of Tom and a sentence of 8 years in prison for sexual abuse of minor. Tom may not even survive that long, not when the next full moon is coming. His options were being killed in prison for turning into a violent creature, or kill everyone that stands in his way when he transforms. Meanwhile, Rose's parents are planning to move her to the city, and given her some information on a community in Alaska that shares her condition. As she turned 18, her first day as an adult was faced with big decisions, first among them is to finally visit Tom Stone in prison and find a way out for him. The story is definitely original and unusual. It has the fantasy and reality aspects well blended. The plot flows quick and smooth, with little hints of mystery and suspense. The main characters Rose and Tom are both okay, and I guess I understand how they are attracted to each other. But as nicely written as it is, this story is simply not what I'm looking for and I would be very happy to pick something else. less
