I wish hardcovers were easily available in Pakistan. I’d buy them in a jiffy. But no worries on that front as I’m making arrangements to get my hands on the hardcovers or paperback with my favourite covers. This is my favourite A Conspiracy in Belgravia cover.
This one begins from the same point where the last one ended; no breaks. And, I love that fact.
As I began reading it felt it was a meet up with my favourite people and I was engrossed in the story instantly.
Sitting in her apartment, our dear Charlotte Holmes is solving domestic oddity cases as she finds herself part of another plan. A plan by a mastermind who is the enemy of Queen and country.
Because everyone knows the characters of Doyle’s books, I don’t believe it will be a spoiler if I mention Moriarty’s name. Moriarty; enemy of Queen and country.
It all starts with Charlotte’s question to find answers as to disappearance of her half brother which gets jumbled up with the answers to a decade old ciphers leading to a murder site.
Every chapter makes you think that the answers are just round the corner but then you realise that there is more to the situation than meets the eye. The answers aren’t as simple as black and white.
Kept me interested from the first word and I didn’t want it to end. It ended to soon for me.
