review 1: I couldn't put this book down, the hero was a softie and a very loving man who never treated the heroine badly. It was very well written and highly enjoyable but sadly the ending/resolution was disappointing. I expected something more dramatic and intense after the hero found out the heroine's true motives but it fell flat. I would have given it 5 stars had it not been for the weak drama free resolution.
review 2: This is by far one of the best Harlequin Desires I've read in years! The hero and his brothers are both sexy and fun. The heroine is spunky, but susceptible to the hero's charms. While both have secret agendas, their natural attraction complicates their relationship even more. Ms. Carlisle has written believable characters in a world that makes me wan... moret to spend time there! Can't wait to read the next in the series! less
