review 1: This book is about Harry who has recently been kicked out by his wife who thinks he is having an affair. He is not having an affair and he tries to get his wife back, but eventually gives up. There isn't much going on in his life except for trying out various jobs and living arrangements. The most interesting characters are his kids: Karina who's a freegan and Hector who is in a cult. I think Ms. Christensen could probably write a standalone book about each of the kids.

Loved its depiction of a crumbling marriage. Kate Christensen is a humanist of the highest order.
